Bio: Thomas Shin is the Medical Director for the US influenza vaccines portfolio at Sanofi, a global vaccines and pharmaceutical company. His work has centred on epidemiology and health economics, and resulted in several high impact peer-reviewed articles. At Sanofi, he has led teams in real-world evidence and outcomes research in Canada and the US. Before that, he worked in economic evaluation and drug portfolio optimization as a Senior Economist at Cancer Care Ontario and the Ontario Drug Benefit Program. He holds Master's degrees in anthropology, epidemiology, and applied statistics, and is completing his PhD at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy.
